Durham University Chemical Society (DUCS) was founded for the benefit of chemical science students at the University. Today DUCS welcomes anyone with an interest in chemistry and runs events thoughout the year for both the benefit of its members and the wider community.

DUCS is run by a great bunch of people who make up the executive. We organise events and talks for your wider education and encourage you to enjoy a social life, we keep you up to date with news and events via our e-mailing list. We do charge for membership, but its still one of the cheapest societies in the university; £3.50 for one year or £6 for life membership.
